SiriNam Singh, Advising Director
SiriNam Singh directed KYC for more than 25 years and now, as the Advising Director for KYC, he continues to serve with a spirit of joy. He is an Instructional Leader in the public schools and has been recognized by his school district and the state of Massachusetts as a distinguished teacher. He has authored several well received educational books on inclusive education and group exercises for social skills and self-esteem. SiriNam is also an accomplished musician and co-recorded SAT NAM! Songs of Khalsa Youth Camp with Snatam Kaur. He serves on the board of trustees for our international boarding school in Amritsar India, Miri Piri Academy, and provides professional development training for the academic staff there. His desire to continue to support Yogi Bhajan's vision of creating Aquarian leaders through the success of our special camp and school is his humble mission.
Snatam Kaur Khalsa, Camp Instructor
Snatam Kaur has been on the KYC staff for several years and works with the children on kirtan and dharmic studies. She is one of the most popular New Age artists of our time. She has an amazing ability to transform traditional chants into a contemporary sound that appeals to the modern ear and awakens an ancient yearning in the soul. She recorded SAT NAM! Songs from Khalsa Youth Camp with SiriNam Singh and camp kids a few years ago.
Gurujodha Singh, Empowerment and Martial Arts
Gurujodha Singh is a sixth degree black belt and has been an instructor of Kenpo Karate for more than 25 years. He teaches yoga as a dynamic training method for martial arts and personal excellence. Both meditation and physical yoga exercise are emphasized. He is an attorney and a practitioner and teacher of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and has taught martial arts and self-defense at Khalsa Youth Camp, 3HO International Women’s Camp, and Miri Piri Academy.
Sopurkh Singh Khalsa, Administrative Guide
Sopurkh Singh has been teaching Kundalini Yoga and meditation since 2000. He specializes in helping people experience their meditative mind and find a home within their true self. He teaches classes that are challenging, provocative and inspiring, and helps students move beyond old fears into a blissful, present, reality.
Hari Jot Kaur Khalsa-Rhodes, Outdoors Skills Teacher
Hari Jot Kaur Khalsa-Rhodes has led the KYC Outdoors Skills Program for the last two years. Her love is teaching children to appreciate and respect the natural world. She was born into the 3HO community and attended boarding school in India for twelve years. As a teenager she attended the Yogi Bajan Survival Teen Camp every summer until she became a guide there and then continued to co-lead the newly named camp—Khalsa Wilderness Teen Camp. She currently teaches outdoor exploration and self-learning at a preschool. She has recently been named the VP of Outdoor Education for her volunteer work on getting her children’s public school learning outdoors more and more on their school farm and canyon valley adjacent to the school. Hari Jot Kaur Khalsa-Rhodes is excited to play outside with your child this summer. Last year she led a successful overnight build-your-own shelter for the older campers. It was a great success!
